  • Camp BaYoCa
    • This facility is located in Wears Valley and is owned and operated by the Knox County Baptist Association. Our work there consists of facility maintenance to provide a safe, efficient and effective environment for people of all ages to come and study God's Word and for many to hear the gospel for the first time. We perform tree removal, we build, repair, or replace cabins, bridges, meeting areas, camp sites, roadways, livestock facilities and recreational areas as needed. Anyone who enjoys hands-on physical ministry work would truly be blessed to be a part of this effort. Most of the trips to the camp are on Saturday.

  • Car Care
    • Car Care provides basic automotive services (oil and filter changes, fluid inspections and refills, preventative maintenance inspections and car washes) free of charge to single parents, widows, senior citizens and low-income families. To receive service, the vehicle registration and a valid driver's license must be presented. Volunteers are supervised by experienced mechanics, who perform the more complex services. For critical automotive issues, the team will make assessments and referrals to4 qualified shops in the area. Services are provided on the second Saturday of the month, April through November, 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., weather permitting.

  • Disaster Relief Unit
    • Grace's Disaster Relief Unit is a volunteer program that provides free assistance to victims of natural disasters. Tree removal, the group's primary focus, is essential for electrical power restoration, medical aid and food delivery. Help is needed in the following groups: Chain Saw Crews, Brush Pullers, Feeding Units, Mud Out and Chaplains. Grace is affiliated with Southern Baptist Disaster Relief, Tennessee Unit, , which provides the required training.

  • Focus Prison Ministries
  • Frontlines
    • Frontlines, the benevolence ministry of Grace Baptist Church, helps meet the immediate needs of those who contact Grace for assistance. After receiving a written request, the team assesses the need with phone calls and interviews. Upon approval, a team member follows up with the individual to help meet their need, as well as provide guidance and encouragement.

  • Hugs
    • Touching lives one stitch at a time, the Hugs Ministry hand-makes quilts for individuals who are going through difficult times. It is the labor of love and prayer that goes into each quilt that makes it special. A cross is placed on the back of each quilt to remind its recipient of the sacrifice God made on Calvary just for them. In quilting, thread holds the layers of fabric together just as God holds our life together.

  • Kids Hope
    • Kids Hope USA equips congregations to build relationships with their neighborhood elementary schools by providing mentors for the students. One caring adult mentoring an at-risk child for one hour a week helps the child feel loved and valued, enabling him to learn, grow and succeed. Grace small groups have adopted 19 classrooms and their teachers at Lonsdale Elementary School to mentor and help meet their needs. Click for the Mentor Application and Mentor Disclosure forms along with the Kids Hope Volunteer Packet. Completed forms need to be sent to Kristi Stewart at kstewart@gracebc.org
