PRESCHOOL

 

All classes are offered August to May

9am-2pm

Age 2 – 5 years (by August 15)

  • 2 day option: Tuesday/Thursday
  • 3 day option: Monday/Wed/Friday
  • 5 day option: Monday-Friday  (available for 2 year olds only. Please see PreKindergarten for 3–5 yrs)
 
In class experience:
• Bible lessons taught daily
• All children attend weekly chapel
• STEAM Lab class offered weekly
• Gym class once a week and daily playground time
• Staff trained in Conscious Disciplined behavior management program

Preparing for Class

  • Children bring a full-size backpack daily with a change of clothes in case of an accident
  • Parents provide lunch & snack, refrigerator, and microwave in each classroom
  • Allergies are noted and room are peanut-free as necessary
  • 3-year-olds are encouraged to be potty-trained, but our teachers will work with parents if assistance is       needed.
  • New students (3 & 4 only) will be scheduled for a pre-assessment appointment prior to classroom               placement.
  • Open House held every August before school begins, gives the family the opportunity to meet the               teacher.

We follow the Grace Christian Academy school calendar:

  • observe all breaks and holidays
  • weather and illness related closings 
 

Enrollment

  • All programs begin summer and fall enrollment in February. 
  • Once classrooms have reached capacity, spaces are filled through a waiting list.
  • Tuition: monthly or bi-monthly payment plans available
 
Early Care
Early care is designed for parents who need additional care before the school day begins. This is offered both Preschool and Pre-K beginning at 7:15. (Additional monthly fee applies)
 
Activities Class
Activities class extends the day until 3:00 to add more flexibility in pick up options for both Preschool and Pre-K families. (Additional monthly fee applies)
 
Stay Late & Play
A convenient option for families that need additional care in a safe and fun environment. This service is offered to Preschool and Pre-K and ends at 5:45. (Additional fee applies)

SUMMER PRESCHOOL

  • Summer Preschool is offered part-time or           full-time from 9:00-2:00 during June and July
  • Available for 2 year olds–rising Kindergarten
  • Part-time: Tuesday/Thursday
  • Full-time: Monday-Thursday (FULL)
  • Early care and Stay Late & Play options               available during summer for an additional fee
